William Kent Everhart “Bill”, 73, of Huntersville, NC left this world to be with his Lord through the grace and salvation of his Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2021, after suffering a stroke and a two-year battle with Lewy Body dementia.
Bill was born December 28, 1947, in Washington, DC, the only child of the late Marcel and Alma Everhart of Richmond, VA. He graduated from Huguenot High School in 1966, and received a BS in History from Old Dominion University in 1970. He had a long career in sales with The Best Products Company, The Maintenance Supply Company and lastly at Kelsan, Inc. retiring in 2015.
Bill is survived by his wife, Tina; son, Corey; daughter, Dawn; son, Mathew; daughter, Jaclyn, five grandchildren, Brittany, Mason, Hannah, Mae and Cailyn.
Bill loved spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids, going to the movies, golfing, fishing, boating and canoeing. He was a dedicated member of the Grace Covenant Church Cornelius Campus where he was active on the song writing team and music program.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Pastor Farrell Lemmings officiating.
