Tracy Edwards Oakes, 53, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at her home.

Born June 28, 1965, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of Georgia Carr Edwards of High Point, and the late Donald Paul Edwards. Mrs. Oakes was employed at Home Depot.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Charles H. Oakes; son, Paul Griffie; daughter Krysti Griffie; sister Dianna Pruitt; and grandson, David Finnerty.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Wright Funerals-Cremations.
