Tony Lee Dixon

Tony Lee Dixon, 58, of Thomasville, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born on June 22, 1965, Tony was a humble and devout man who embodied the virtues of selflessness, gratitude, and respect for all of creation.  His unwavering faith in God guided his actions, and his life served as a shining example of love and compassion.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Lizet; his cherished daughter, Ashley; his devoted stepson, Christopher (Vanessa); and his adoring granddaughters, Kenzi, Kelsi, and Brooklyn.  He also leaves behind his dear sisters, Merry (Rich) and Penny, as well as his beloved brothers, Buddy (Tammy) and Terry (Isabel), and a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Tony found solace and strength in his religious community, Kingdom Vision Ministries.  His devotion to God and his fellow worshippers was unwavering, and he found great comfort in the teachings of his faith.  His humility and gratitude were evident in every aspect of his life, as he continually sought to serve others and show kindness to all.

In addition to his spiritual pursuits, Tony had a passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers, golfing, and the art of moonshining.  These hobbies brought him joy and provided opportunities for him to connect with others who shared his interests.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Tony’s life will take place at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2023, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, 1720 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC  27262.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Wright Reception Room located on the lower level of the funeral home.

Tony Dixon will forever be remembered as a gentle soul whose unwavering faith and humble spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.  His selflessness, gratitude, and respect for all of creation will continue to inspire and guide us.  May his soul find eternal peace in the embrace of God’s love.
