Tommy Eli Vanadore

Thomas (Tommy) Eli Vanadore, 80, of High Point, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 4, 1944, in Guilford County, he was the son of the late J.D. Vanadore and the late Beatrice Blackburn Vanadore.  Tommy retired from Schmidt America and served in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam Veteran.  Tommy was a good baseball coach and enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing.

He is survived by his wife, Judith (Judy) Vanadore of the home; sons, Stacy Burkhart (Tammy) of Trinity and Dean Burkhart (Tina) of High Point; grandchildren, Brandi Burkhart, Schyler Burkhart, Dalton Burkhart, Hannah Burkhart, Emily Burkhart, and Brianna Burkhart; great grandchildren, Airiane Burkhart, Jamirah Cooper, and Jayce Cooper.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, March 22, 2024, at Floral Garden Park Cemetery with Pastor Chad Holland officiating.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point.
