Timothy Truman Stroupe, 71, of High Point, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Beacon Place Hospice.

Born August 19, 1945, in Sanford, he was a son of the late Grady Lee Stroupe and the late Jane Capps Hulin. Mr. Stroupe was a US Navy veteran and was the owner and operator of several convenience stores in High Point.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Desiree VonCannon Stroupe of the home; son Todd Stroupe and wife Tina of Sanford; step-daughter, Heather Duane and husband Kyle of KY; brother, Jonathan Stroupe; grandchildren, Trevor Stroupe, Alyssa Duane, Ace Duane, Karoline Duane, and Phoebe Duane.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
