Thomas Rodenhizer Obituary

Thomas Oliver Rodenhizer was born to Barry Rodenhizer and Deborah Williams Rodenhizer on November 14, 1981 and returned home on September 21, 2020.

In life, Thomas was many things to many people – a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, cousin, friend, brother in arms and Army Veteran. He was intelligent, genuine, supportive, loving, quiet, and kind. He was generous to a fault, at times. He loved anime, comics, heavy music, his cats, his family, and his friends.

But these labels and words could never capture the meaning or value of Tom’s life to us. His true purpose in this life was creating art and he had a knack for creating beautiful things. We are deeply saddened that we won’t see the beautiful things he might have done with his life. Our grief is tempered by the knowledge that his earthly suffering has reached its end.

Thomas was predeceased by his brother, Christopher Scott Rodenhizer; both grandmothers, LaVelda Rodenhizer and Margaret Williams; and grandfather, Rex Williams. Surviving are his father, Barry Rodenhizer and wife Kathy Rodenhizer; mother, Deborah Williams Rodenhizer; brother Joseph Rodenhizer, wife Stephanie Cox Rodenhizer and daughter Everley; sister-in-love, Carrie Rodenhizer, and niece, Cordelia Rodenhizer; grandfather, Bruce Rodenhizer; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2020, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations. The family will receive friends following the service.
