Sylvia Christine Nelson Triplett, age 84 passed away February 13, 2020, at Hospice of the Piedmont High Point, NC.

Sylvia was born January 25, 1936, in Los Angeles County, California to the late Marie and Elmer Nelson.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia is also preceded in death by her husband, Travis Triplett; three sisters, Dorothy Linderman, Jean Merritt, and Greta Nelson, one brother Neal Nelson,

Sylvia is survived by one step-daughter, Vicki Horn of Salisbury; three step-grandchildren, Justin Clark of Charlotte, Melanie Hall and husband Matthew of Salisbury, and Brittany Danielle Burris of Salisbury; one step-great grandchild Tripp Dashab; two sisters-in-law, Treva Triplett Johnson of Jacksonville, Fl. and Carrie Triplett Cornette and husband Harold of High Point, NC; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Sylvia was a former model in California until she and her husband moved to Boone, NC.  For the past year, she resided at Piedmont Christian Home in High Point, NC.

Sylvia was a member at Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church in Triplett, NC.

The family would like to thank the staff at Piedmont Christian Home for their loving, patient care of Sylvia during this past year and most assuredly our thanks to the staff of Hospice of the Piedmont for assisting the family so caringly during Sylvia’s last days.  

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 29, 2020, in the gathering room of  Wright Cremation and Funeral Service, 1726 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC  27262.
