Stuart Schurr Obituary

Stuart Leslie Schurr, 78, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born February 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Frederick Fisher Schurr and the late Bessie Bender Schurr. Living most of his life in Pittsburgh, he was a time manager in the steel industry and served in the United States Army. Mr. Schurr was a member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church which he served on “Property” and was able to fix anything. Stuart referred to himself as a Born again Racer. He moved south to get away from winters and get closer to NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Grossberndt Schurr of the home.

Services will be held at a later date.
