Steve Woody Obituary
Jay Steven Woody, 67, of Trinity, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Born January 2, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late John Louis Woody and the late Kathleen Bond Woody. Steve was a US Marine veteran a member of Friendly Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Peggy Stone and husband Marty of Sophia; brothers, Mike Branning and wife Louise of High Point, Jeff Woody and fiancé Julie Dale of Valdese, and Earl Woody of New Mexico.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Sue Woody Hutchens.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Tony Sluss officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
