Shirley Ann (Hoffman) Wade

Shirley Ann Hoffman Wade, 87, of High Point, passed away, Sunday, May 26, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 2, 1936, in New York, NY, to the late William Hoffman and the late Anna Zurich Hoffman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Edwin S. Wade; her sister, Joan McCamless and her brother, William Hoffman.

Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother; her fondest times were spent with her children and grandchildren. Shirley’s favorite holidays were Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. She was of the Catholic faith.

She was very hardworking with her professional work as well as her home time. She had a love for candles and planting flowers. She loved refinishing furniture, oftentimes finding a discarded piece and giving it a fresh look.

Left to cherish her memory; her sons, Keith Wade and wife Melissa of Surfside Beach, SC, and Kevin Wade and wife Kristi of Colfax; grandchildren, Michael Wade, Hastings Wade, Matthew Wade and Branson Wade; great granddaughter, Avery Wade; sisters, Helen Ross (Charles), and Jean Hansen (Kenneth); along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A private services will be held at a later date.
