Sabrina Morgan

Sabrina Morgan, 63, of Thomasville passed away on Wednesday July 5th, 2023, at Hospice Home at High Point after a courageous battle with cancer. Sabrina was born in Washington DC on March 22, 1960, to the late Robert Morgan and Ruth Morgan Mentzer. After graduating from John Dickinson High School in Wilmington DE, she moved to North Carolina to attend High Point college (now university).

Sabrina had a successful career in sales, most recently with Sysco and Performance Food Group for the past 20 years. She was an area manager for Performance Foodservice-Hickory at the time of her death.

Sabrina loved her family, her boyfriend TC, her dog Zoe, her vast group of friends, the beach (especially OBX), music, and enjoyed hobbies like gardening, riding motorcycles, and homemade tie dyeing. Sabrina never met a stranger, and had such a magical personality that people just gravitated to her. Her love for people allowed her to help her clients succeed while she was rewarded personally. That was Sabrina's "secret sauce". She will be fondly remembered by anyone who ever got the pleasure of being a part of her vibrant life!

She is proceeded in death by her father, Robert Morgan. She is survived by her mother Ruth Mentzer of West Chester, PA; her children, son Ian Ward of Boone, NC and daughter Kaitlin Ward (Sam Mkhitaryan) of Miami, FL; sister Kendra Morgan Mancini (Carl Mancini) of West Chester, PA; brother Ryan Morgan; nephew Renzo Mancini; niece Capri Mancini; and boyfriend Terry Cole of Thomasville.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for friends and family will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 11am in the lower level at Wright Funerals-Cremations in High Point, NC. It was Sabrina’s wish that attendees wear colorful attire (her favorite was purple), and share happy memories with each other.

Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point is in charge of arrangements.
