Ruth Beeson Lassiter

Ruth Beeson Lassiter passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 11, 2020, at the age of 97.

Mrs. Lassiter was the daughter of the late Orville and Emma Beeson. Ruth grew up on a farm in Wallburg in Davidson County. Mrs. Lassiter married her husband, Will Mac Lassiter, after he returned from serving our country in World War II. They were married for 62 years. He preceded her in death.

Ruth owned and operated Ruth's Beauty Shop for over 60 years.  She loved visits from relatives and her many customers and working in her flower gardens.  She lived a long and happy life and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs Lassiter is survived by her sons; Mac Lassiter of Kernersville, Randy Lassiter of Richmond, VA; daughter Tammy Lassiter of Kernersville; sister Grace Green; three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband Mrs. Lassiter was preceded in death by her four brothers, Clarence, Paul, Monroe, and John.

There will be a private graveside funeral at Floral Garden Memorial Park for family members only due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
