Ruth Brady Andrews

Ruth Brady Andrews, 87, of High Point, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, at Greybrier Nursing and Rehab.

Born March 18, 1934, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Jeter Comer Brady and the late Crenna Stone Brady. Ruth retired from Jefferson Pilot Insurance (Lincoln Financial) with thirty-five years of service. She was a longtime member at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church and attended First Wesleyan Church. Ruth loved dogs and watching TV crime dramas.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Mark Andrews and wife Debbie of Archdale, and Don Andrews, Jr. of High Point; daughter, Dawn Murphy and husband Vince of Thomasville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Andrews, Sr.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 12, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
