Robert Millard Moore, Jr.

Robert Millard Moore, Jr., 88, of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Thomasville Medical Center.

Born, March 20, 1934, he was the son of the late Robert Millard Moore, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Turner Moore. Robert faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He married the love of his life Joetta Garner on November 24, 1966. Robert retired from the construction industry as a Vice President. He enjoyed being outside mowing his yard, and tending to his gardening. Robert was a true family man; he loved his family passionately and taught them many valuable life lessons through his example.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 56 years, Joetta Garner Moore; daughter, Lori Rierson; grandchildren, Zachary Rierson (Monica), and Taylor Rierson, and extended family and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Hospice of Davidson County.
