Ricky Ray Loflin, 70, of Thomasville, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Hospice Home of the Piedmont in High Point.
He was born November 25, 1953, in Thomasville, to Conley Ray Loflin and Myrtle Jean White Loflin. In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Belva and nephew, Patrick Loflin.
Ricky was known for his friendly and kind nature, always quick with a witty remark that brought laughter to those around him. He cherished his time with friends and family, finding joy in their company. Ricky also had a strong work ethic and took pride in his work, finding fulfillment at The Pastor’s Pantry assisting the elderly with securities and food.
Ricky is survived by his son Richard Hughes of Archdale; grandchildren, Autumn Hughes and Kayla Hughes; sister, Tammy Childress and husband Jeff of Thomasville; brothers Lanny Loflin and wife Chris and Doyle Loflin, both of Thomasville; niece, Kailey Kennedy and husband Eli; nephew John Michael Loflin; and his great-niece Abigail Loflin.

A private graveside will be in the Lineberry Church Cemetery, 2559 Handy Rd, Denton, NC 27239
