Peggy Newsome Ransom, 81, of High Point, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, at her home.

She was born December 15, 1936, in Guilford County.

Mrs. Ransom is survived by her daughters, Sandra Gordon of Trinity, and Rhonda Grubb and husband Bill of High Point; son, Michael Ransom and wife Donna of Sophia; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Holbert Ransom in 2017.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Pilot View Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Summers and Rev. Bynum Orr officiating.

The family will receive from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church.
