Patsy Floyd Hinkle

Patsy Don Floyd Hinkle, 84, of Thomasville, passed away, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Hinkle House Hospice of Davidson County. She was born September 16, 1939, in Davidson County to Alma Scarlett Floyd.

On October 7, 1967, she married her sweetheart, Eddie and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage and together raised their two sons, Eric and Damon.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Patsy loved the Lord and serving the people of Cedar Lodge Baptist Church as the secretary and treasurer. She also served on several committees and sang in the choir. Aside from church activities, she enjoyed reading a good book and putting jigsaw puzzles together.

Left to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Eddie Hinkle; sons, Eric Hinkle and wife Anna of Thomasville and Damon Hinkle and wife Val of Thomasville; grandchildren, Emma, Maddie, Naham and Caleb Hinkle; brother, Douglas Floyd and wife Treva; sisters, Nina Aurand and Dawn Carter and husband Tommy; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 3:30 PM, Friday, April 19, 2024, at Cedar Lodge Baptist Church; 1305 Cedar Dr., Thomasville, with the Reverends N. J. Rich and Steve Jarvis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
