Myrtle Gray Hardee, 86, of High Point, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Westchester Manor.
Born May 14, 1934, in Harnett County, she was a daughter of the late Harold Gray and the late Texie Campbell Gray. Myrtle was an executive secretary and a Christian, businesswoman, entrepreneur and loved to travel.
She is survived by her daughters, Yuvonda Hendricks and husband Don of High Point, and Angela Brustad and husband Greg of Fuquay Varina; brother, Billy Gray and wife Brenda of Sanford; sisters, Mary Carter and husband Walter of Garner, and Patsy Gray of Dunn; grandchildren, Allison Matthews, Aimee Bray and husband CR, and Erin Vereen and husband Todd; great-grandchildren, Ansley Hendricks, Sterling Bray, and Scarlett Bray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George Gray, and Bobby Gray; sisters, Carol Harmon, and Linda Hart.
A private family service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020, in the Mausoleum of Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest, NC with Dr. James Seymour officiating.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service will be limited to family. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Angela Brustad, 3545 Wiltree Drive, Fuquay Varina from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Tuesday.
