Marie Hiatt Obituary

Marie Clodfelter Hiatt, 86, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Accordions Health of Lexington.

Born September 18, 1934, in Ashe County, she was a daughter of the late Irvin Clodfelter and the late Mary Owens Clodfelter.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Stobaugh and husband Greg of Thomasville, Cherri Howlett and husband Wayne of Thomasville, and Abby Dixon of Sophia; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hiatt; son, Freddie Hiatt; grandsons, Steven Paul Hiatt, and Dustin Hiatt Hannah; brother, Butch Clodfelter; sisters, Judy Kennedy, and Tinker Clodfelter.

Services will be private.
