Margaret Vuncannon Yarborough, 89, of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at High Point Medical Center.
Born June 3, 1931, in High Point, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Carl Vuncannon and the late Mary Nancy Vaughn Vuncannon. Margaret retired form the deli department at Harris Teeter with twenty-three years of service.
She is survived by her sons, Dwight Teer of Thomasville, Roger Teer of Florida, Gary Teer of Kansas, David Teer of Thomasville, and Steven Teer of South Carolina; daughter, Tami Motley and husband Tim of Thomasville; sisters, Hulda Whaley and husband Bill of Jacksonville, and Catherine Duffy and husband Jim of Clemmons; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Yarborough in 1975, five brothers; and two sisters.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, February 15, 2021 in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. John Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
