Lewis Tirey Weeks

Lewis Tirey Weeks, 75, of Trinity, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at Hospice of Randolph County.

Born August 21, 1948, in Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Roy Luther Weeks and the late Elsie Brown Weeks. Lewis was a retired health inspector with the Guilford County Health Department and later Lowe’s Hardware. He was a member of Encounter Church.

Lewis is survived by his wife, Stella Marie Cook Weeks of the home; son, Corbin Weeks and wife Sara of Trinity; daughter, Gina Prevost and husband Ben of Trinity; brother, Rev. David Weeks, Sr. and wife Carolyn of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Landon Weeks, and Lucas Prevost; brother-in-law, Calvin Ashby; and sister-in-law, Crissie Harmon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Ashby.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2024, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. John Vernon, Rev. Ronnie Brown, and Mr. Jerry Farlow officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service and other times at the home of his daughter, Gina.
