Born, January 11, 1948, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, he was the son to the late Kenneth B. Harris, Sr. and the late Dorothy Shultz Harris. Ken proudly served our country in the United States Army and the Army reserves for six years. He was an avid golfer and during his retirement served as an officer for the High Point Senior’s Golf Association. He was a man with many talents and skills. Of all his many passions in life, none was as important as his skill of making and/or playing a guitar. It is said that if you handed a chunk of wood, he would hand you back a guitar. He was a truly a music enthusiast, and his knowledge of music was incredible. Ken was famous for telling jokes and stories. His sense of humor guaranteed he would make you smile. He was a wonderful man, and although his memory will live on in the hearts of many, his presence will be deeply missed.
