Josiah Holmes Obituary

Josiah Lindon Holmes, 71, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Shannon Gray Health and Rehab.

Born August 29, 1949, in Randolph County, he was the eldest son of the late Floyd L. Holmes and the late Floy Powell Holmes.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Lorraine Miller Holmes, children, Marcus Jermaine Holmes and Charline Paige Holmes and their children, Jordan and Trinity Holmes; Brandi Michelle Foster and Forrest Cedric Foster and their children, Braylon, Kennedy and Brendan Foster, stepson, Courtland B.O. Pemberton and his daughter, Caitlyn R.G. Pemberton; stepdaughter, Avis A. Pemberton; brother, Carlton Holmes and Shirley Holmes; sister, Gloria Lucas; and many extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
