Jeanie Helms Cooper, 67, of High Point, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born October 14, 1949, in Concord, she was a daughter of the late Robert Alfred Helms and the late Bathsheba Hartsell Helms. Ms. Cooper retired from Thomasville Furniture and Hughes Supply, and attended Oak View Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Mike Cooper of Burlington; brothers, Robert Helms and wife Cindy of TX, and Jerry Helms and wife Melissa of SC; sisters, Jane Brown and husband Danny of High Point, Martha McCartney and husband Mac of MD, and Helen Johns of MD; sister-in-law, Linda Helms of Thomasville; and granddaughter, Taylor Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Van Franklin Helms.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Mills Home Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Stewart and Rev. Dr. Michael Blackwell officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at the home of Jane and Danny Brown, 720 Curry Rd., High Point.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mills Home Baptist Church, 204 Idol St., Thomasville, NC 27360.
