Jay Edward Hodges, 53, of Merry Hills Ct., High Point, was called to his heavenly home on November 17, 2018.

Born July 15, 1965, in Forsyth County, he was a son of the late Ronnie Edward Hodges and the late Sandra Benfield Hodges. Owner of A Touch of Color Co., he proudly participated in the High Point Furniture Market for many years. Jay was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Thomasville.

He survived by wife, Sharon Hodges; son, Jesse Kennedy; brother, Jimmy Mullies and wife Stacey; and aunt, Lynn Marbaker.

Arrangements are incomplete.

The family would like to thank the High Point Oncology Dept., and the Community Clinic of High Point.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services or Hospice of the Piedmont.
