Jane Lentz Livengood, 56, of Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at High Point Medical Center.
Born January 18, 1965, in Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Hollis William Lentz and Elizabeth Cobler Lentz. After graduating from UNCG in 1987, Jane worked as a furniture customer service representative. She married her high school sweetheart in December of 1987. She was a Mission Friends leader and Sunday school teacher at church for many years. She was a wonderful woman, whose laugh was contagious.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her nephew, PFC Ivan Rowe; and a brother-in-law, David Rowe.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Michael Livengood; daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” Livengood Butcher and husband Ralph of Greensboro, and Catherine “Catt” Livengood of Thomasville; a daughter-in-heart, Marteasia “Marty” Shipwash; a grandson-in-heart, Aydin Rich; a brother, Jeff Lentz and wife Pat of High Point; sister-in-law, Tammy Rowe of Connelly Springs; a nephew, JJ Lentz and wife Mindy of High Point; nieces, Natalie Blake and husband Quinn of Wilmington, Courtney Turlington and husband Donnie of Colfax, Jennifer Rowe of Hickory, and Rebecca and Melissa Rowe of Connelly Springs; great-nephews, Jeffery Lentz and Patrick Turlington; and great-nieces, Madeline Lentz and Amariana Little.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Roy Cantrell and Rev. Ben Rowe officiating. The service will be live-streamed on the Wright Funerals-Cremations Facebook page.
The family will receive friends following the service.
