Jack Edward Trees

Jack Edward Trees, 83, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at High Point Medical Center.

Born December 7, 1938, in Marion County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Edward Paul Trees and the late Clara Lunsford Trees. Jack was a US Navy veteran and was a retired data processor.

He is survived by his sons, Jeffery Rush and wife Kim of Waxhaw, and John Rush and partner, Adam Janowski of Florida; daughters, Lee Anne Trees of Cornelius, and Valerie Sue Viers and husband Rick of Thomasville; grandchildren, Trisha Rush, Bryan Rush, Emma Evans, Wyatt Rush, Luke Rush, Lily Rush, Brad Viers and wife Danielle, Chris Viers and wife Ashley, and Victoria Viers; great-grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Dylan Smith, Elijah Rush, Henry Viers, and “on the way”, Kenzie Viers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne  Tompkins Trees.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with Rev. Dean Tsiolkas officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
