Helen Faye Kennedy Grubb, 80, of High Point, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021, at Hospice Home at High Point.
Born November 23, 1940, in Randolph County, she was a daughter of the late Alonzo Kennedy and the late Etta Cox Kennedy. Helen was a talented quilter having won many awards and she enjoyed line dancing at Creekside Park. She was the best wife, mother, and grandmother and always put others first.
Helen is survived by her husband, Harold Grubb of the home; sons, Wayne Grubb and wife Brenda of High Point, Bill Grubb and wife Rhonda of High Point, and Randy Grubb and wife Cindy of Trinity; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Kennedy; sisters, Gladys Lucas, and Peggy Fuller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 20, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Tom Fields and Rev. Eric Grubb officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
