Harry Anderson "Buck", 74, went home to be with his lord and savior Friday March 1, 2024.
He was born January 1, 1950, in Forsyth County, a son of the late Robert and Doris Anderson. He was a lifelong farmer and resident of Guilford County. Upon the retirement of the farm, he worked for Garner motors and then Piedmont Bobcat, as a mechanic and service manager where he officially retired. He enjoyed spending time with family, beach and mountain trips. His passions were gardening, working on equipment, and riding the tractor. He loved to teach others what he knew. Harry loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were two sisters, Linda Hodge, Nancy Anthony, and a brother, Johnny Anderson, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 54 years, Judy Anderson; his son, Wayne Anderson (Enjonae); his daughters, Crystal Moore, Brenda Eads (Tony), Emily Smith (Mike) and his sister, Joyce Hedgecock. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Anthony, Brigit, Timmy, Wade, Mikey, Carmen, John and Abigail; great grandchildren, Bentley, Nevaeh, Parker, Lucas and Emma; and several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Buck's life will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, with Pastor Wayne Anderson officiating. The committal service will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
