Frank Allen Taylor, Jr., 78 of High Point, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023, at High Point Medical Center.
Born October 4, 1944, in Pitt County, he was raised in Farmville a son of the late Frank Allen Taylor, Sr. and the late Ruby Delma Frizzell Taylor. Frank was a man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR and telling a good joke. Frank was a family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He attended Harvest Outreach Church until his health failed.
Frank is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Carol Jones Taylor of the home; sons, Charles Taylor and wife Deborah of Thomasville, and Geoff Taylor and wife Mary of Greensboro; daughter, Melissa Brock and husband Trent of Lexington; brothers, Wayne Taylor and wife Margie of Greenville, and Sam Taylor of Tennessee; sister, Doris “Dot” Wooten of Tarboro; grandchildren, Christa Taylor, Allyson Taylor, Anna Taylor, and Trentity Brock; and one great-granddaughter, Raylee Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Taylor, and sisters, Janice and Patricia.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 2, 2023, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Luke Jackson officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
