Elizabeth "Liz" (Autry) Mccollum

Elizabeth (Liz) Autry McCollum, 79, of Jamestown, passed away August 3, 2024, at Moses Cone Hospital.

Born June 22, 1945, in Wilmington, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Earl Autry and the late Clara Karlinsky Autry.  Liz worked in purchasing at Advanced Health Care and was a member of Guilford Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel McCollum III of Jamestown; daughter, Deborah McCollum Gomez and spouse Diego Gomez of Greensboro; and granddaughter, Isabella McCollum Gomez.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Lynn McCollum.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel with Dr. Brady Honeycutt officiating.  Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensboro.

The family will visit with friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
