Margaret “Elaine“ Dehart Mick, 77, of High Point left for her eternity with Jesus on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at her home at Mountain Vista Health Park.
Born May 30, 1945, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Norman Dehart and the late Helen Mason Hornaday. Margaret was an inspector in the furniture industry.
She loved with all her heart, trusted with all her soul, and was a fighter until the very end. Her belief carried her through as evidenced by her published poem Believe.
Belief is accepting, accepting is trust.
Trust is security, security is faith.
Faith is hope, and hope is desire.
Expectation is seeking, seeking is finding.
Finding is answered prayer.
Prayer is asking, asking is believing.
God is the answer, the answer is believe.
She is survived by her sons, Grady Mark Sports (Chris) of Asheboro and Charles Bradley Mick (Savanah) Of Trinity; daughter, Helen Blackburn (Larry) of Troy; brother Norman Dehart of High Point; sister Judy Stone (Randy) Of High Point; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held on June 28 at 6:30 PM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1110 Highway 62 High Point, NC 27263.
