Dorothy Stanton Rollins, 65, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021, at Hospice Home at High Point.
Born April 29, 1956, in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late John David Messer and the late Myrtle Phelps Messer. Dorothy was known for her warming hospitality during her tenure as the clerk at K&W Cafeteria. Dorothy was a faithful member of Trinity Heights Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Talmadge Rollins of the home; daughter, Kristie Hodges (William) of Greensboro; brother, Billy Messer (Martha) of Thomasville; sisters, Elizabeth Grant of High Point, Marie Jones of High Point, Elsie Dudley of Four Oaks; and grandchildren, Ryan Kennedy, Allyson Kennedy, and Nathan Hodges.
A memorial service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Trinity Heights Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Crawford Crenshaw officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
