Dorethea Hert Obituary
Dorethea McClerkin Hert, 58, of High Point, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Hospice Home at High Point.
Born October 30, 1962, in Newark, New Jersey, she was a daughter of Juanita Hobson of High Point and the late Donald McClerkin. Dorethea worked as a certified pharmacy technician and served in the United States Army.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughters, Brittany McClerkin Vasquez (Steve) of Los Angeles, CA, and Leigh McClerkin of High Point; son, Curtis Ray Hert, III of Charlotte; sisters, Donna McClerkin, Dawn McClerkin, Wanda McClerkin, and Tabbatha Baker; grandchildren, Marley Lomax and Hendrix McQueen.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 753 Washington Street, High Point, NC 27260.
The family will visit with friends following the service.
