David Lee “Unk” Morgan, 73, of Jamestown, went to Heaven surrounded by his family Monday, May 25, 2020, at his home.
Born August 28, 1946, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Delvin Lee Morgan and the late Marguerite Brookshire Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a US Army veteran and a retired High Point Fire Fighter with twenty-two years of service.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Worrell and husband Darren of Greensboro; grandchildren, Katie Worrell, and Jesse Worrell; brothers, Buddy Morgan and wife Alice of High Point, Andy Morgan and wife Kim of Jamestown, and Sonny Morgan and wife Barbara of Jamestown; sisters, Barbara Young and husband Jimmy of High Point, Rhonda Reagan and husband Ricky of Jamestown, Deborah McMahon and husband Mike of Jamestown, Sandra Douthit and husband Clyde of High Point, Helen Hall of Jamestown, Colleen Hines and husband Drarrell of High Point, and Runell Harvel of High Point.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Morgan.
The family will have a private celebration of life.
