Danny Lee Gann

Danny Lee Gann, 79, of Kernersville, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his home.

Born October 28, 1941, in Stokes County, he was a son of the late Ronald Bernard Gann, Sr. and the late Nellie Joyce Gann. Mr. Gann was a retired meat cutter and owner of Danny’s Country Store,  a member of Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church and also attended Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Lee Gann of Kernersville, and Michael Gann and wife Tracy of High Point; daughter, Sharon Gann of High Point; brothers, Luke Gann of Kernersville, and Sandy Gann and wife Jeanette of Colfax; grandchildren, Taylor Gann, Megan Gann, Landon Gann and Jake Gann; great-grandchild, Kayden Gann; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Haynes Gann in 2020; brother, Ronald Gann, Jr.; and sister, Mary Smith.

Graveside services will be private at Abbotts Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
