Curtis James McCutcheon, 41, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Hospice Home at High Point.
Born on February 8, 1982, in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of James David McCutcheon (deceased) and Wanda S. (Dean) Evans. He graduated from Centerville Senior High and attended Indiana University and IVY Tech in Richmond, Indiana. Up until his death, he was a commercial sales pro at Advance Automotive.
Curtis will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and his special love for his canine companions.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda Evans and step-father, Gary Evans; step-brother, Matthew Evans (Melissa); step-sister, Laurie Gardner (Chris); uncles and aunts, Gary Dean (Kirsten), Alan Dean (JoAnne), Rick Dean (Victoria), Terry Dean (Julie), Gail Dean, Robert Larsen, and his many cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, James David McCutcheon in 2003.
At Curtis’ own special request, an informal celebration and reflection of life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 20, 2023, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations. Immediately following services, an informal luncheon for friends and family will be held in the Wright Reception Room located on the lower level of the funeral home.
