Charles Richard Ingram

Charles Richard Ingram, 89, of High Point, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019, at his home.
Born July 16, 1930, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Marvin R. Ingram and the late Nannie Bryan Ingram. Mr. Ingram was a US Army veteran and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a lifelong farmer and patriarch of the Ingram Strawberry Farm which started in 1979.
Mr. Ingram is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Kathryn Hudson Ingram of the home; sons, Rick Ingram and wife Valerie of Greensboro, and Dean Ingram and wife Rhonda of High Point; grandchildren, Clinton Ingram (Anna), Emily Ingram (Palolo Peduzzi), Megan Diering (Matt), Mariana Garcia (Rodrigo), Cassandra Welborn (Jacob), Mikaela Ingram, and Lauren Ingram; great-grandchildren, Santiago, Sophia, Christopher, Kathryn, Emilia, and Nicholas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Chris Alan Ingram; and sister, Juanita Johnson.
The family would like to thank Betty Owens for her many years of service.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 PM Monday, November 18, 2019, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Morris Little officiating. Graveside service will be private at Floral Garden Park.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
