Charles Eugene Staley

Charles Eugene Staley, 93, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, at High Point Medical Center.

Born January 11, 1931, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Samuel Dexter Staley and the late Ethel VonCannon Staley. Charles was a US Army veteran, and a retired corporate pilot for Vanity Fair. He was a longtime member of Jamestown United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Asbill Staley of the home; son, Michael Staley and wife Tara of Kernersville; daughter, Suzanne Triboletti and husband Larry of Cary; grandchildren, William Staley, Reese Staley, Steele Triboletti (Bailey), Carson Triboletti, and Luke Triboletti; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Triboletti and Lilliana Triboletti.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Staley, and Darrell Staley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2024, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 4615 Dundas Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407.
