Catherine Brandon Hoover

Catherine Brandon Hoover, 93, of Colfax, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021, at High Point Medical Center.

Born March 17, 1927, in Mecklenburg County, she was a daughter to the late H.B. Bagwell and the late Robina Tillinghast Bagwell.  Catherine was a music teacher in numerous schools and also taught private voice and piano lessons in her home, which she dearly loved and was a member of Friendly Hills Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a son, Thomas H. Hoover of Tunnelton, WV; daughter Robina White (Jim) of Kingwood, WV; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Hoover and a son, Kenneth Hoover.
