Billy Gray Ussery, Sr.

Billy Gray Ussery, Sr., 63, of High Point, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at his home.

Born June 15, 1960, in High Point, he was a son of the late Farrell Ussery and the late Evangeline Hiatt Ussery.  Billy owned his own mechanic shop at his home, Billy’s Auto & Truck Repair.  He loved to watch football, westerns, and car make over shows on the TV.  Billy really enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by sons, Billy Ussery, Jr., and Andy Ussery; daughter, Robin Anderson; brother, Chris Ussery; sister, Kathy Pittman (Doug); seven grandchildren; and many other friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at English Road Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Summey officiating with burial following at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM, prior to the service.
