Billy Wayne Cox

Billy Wayne Cox, 80, of High Point, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Westchester Manor.

Born September 25, 1943, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late Arthur O. Cox and the late Clara Hill Cox. Billy served in the US Army Reserves and was the maintenance supervisor at First Baptist Church. He was a member of Emerywood Baptist Church.

Billy is survived by his wife, Linda Allen Cox of the home; daughter, Tracy Cox Briggs and husband Randy of Kernersville; sister, Shirley Dyson of Kernersville; grandchildren, Trevor Briggs and Travis Briggs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur (Buckey) Cox, and sister, Betty Cox.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 15, 2024, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Steve Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
