Obituary
Andrew John Salat, 80, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his home.
Born April 14, 1943, in Cambria County, PA, a son of the late Andrew John Salat and the late Mary Benyacko Salat. Andrew graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a mechanical engineer for AMP for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Salat of the home; son, Jason Andrew Salat of Durham; daughter, Stephannie Ann Salat and son-in-law Michael Highland of Chapel Hill; brother, Robert Salat (Mary) of Johnstown, PA; and sister-in-law, Carol Salat of Johnstown, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Salat and sister, Glenda Salat.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2023, at Guil-Rand Memorial Park with Rev. C. W. Moss officiating.
Wright Funerals-Cremations, Archdale is in charge of arrangements.
