Alice Hiatt Caudle

Mary Alice Hiatt Caudle, 102, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Westwood Nursing and Rehab.

Born March 18, 1918, in Surry County, she was the daughter of the late William Benton Hiatt and the late Laura Hatta Lawrence Hiatt.  Mrs. Caudle was a longtime member of Landmark Baptist Church where she was very involved. She loved her church family, playing bingo and retired from JRA at the age of seventy-four.

She is survived by a son; J.R. Caudle (Joyce) of Trinity; special granddaughter, Cathy Hall of High Point; fifteen grandchildren; and many many great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Caudle; daughters, Mary Louise Greer, Shirley Sioux Stoddard, Ruthie Milan, Delores Williams, and Mazie Walters.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2020, in Guilford Memorial Park.
