Charles “Woody” Linwood Weisner, 82, of Trinity, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born September 7, 1936, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Charlie Edward Weisner and the late Minnie Lee Thompson Weisner. Mr. Weisner was a graduate of High Point University and a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a self-employed accountant and a member of Archdale First Church of God.

Mr. Weisner is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Evelyn Ball Weisner of the home; son, Christopher Edward Weisner and wife Robin of Thomasville; daughter, Traci Evelyn Weisner of Asheville; sister, Linda Weisner Trehearne and husband Paul of Salem, South Carolina; grandchildren, Dylan Weisner, Jackson Weisner and wife Veronika, and Cooper Weisner.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Archdale First Church of God with Rev. Hallie Scott officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Archdale First Church of God Building Fund, 7009 Weant Rd., Archdale, NC 27263 or Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262.
