Woodrow Powell Branch, 74, of Trinity, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Meridian Center.

Born April 27, 1944, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Johnnie William Branch and the late Thelma Basinger Hooper. Mr. Branch owned several businesses during life, Motor Sports, INC, Furniture Land USA, and B&B Enterprises. He was an avid motorcycle rider.

Mr. Branch is survived by his sons, Jerry Branch and wife Phyllis of Trinity, and Jeff Hicks and wife Teresa of High Point; daughter, Robin Highfill and husband Wayne of Climax; grandchildren, Allison Pittman, Melissa Lancer, James Highfill, Teri Hicks, and Alicia Hicks; great-grandchildren, Zoie Wood, Leland Wood, Natille Wood, Bently Wood, Camron Wood, Calyn Hicks, Cylie Hicks, Tucker Highfill, and Samara Lancer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Branch, and Bobby Branch.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, May 21, 2018, at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Ervin of His Laboring Few officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
