Winfred Landon Douglas, 87, of Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at his home.

Born June 8, 1934, in Scotland County, he was a son of the late George Franklin Douglas and the late Parana Bullard Douglas. Mr. Douglas was a retired restaurant owner and a member of First Presbyterian Church in High Point, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen Hite Douglas of the home; daughters, Kathy Euliss and husband Michael of Winston-Salem, and Cheryl Love and husband William of Browns Summit; honorary son, Gerald Payne of High Point; brother, George F. Douglas, Jr. of Laurinburg; sisters, Helen Ward and husband Les of Laurel Hill, NC, Joann Vanhoy and husband Grady of Aberdeen, NC and Christine Douglas of Duluth, GA; grandchildren, William Love and wife Lisa, David Euliss and wife Emily, Steven Love, Sarah Darnell and husband Dusty, and Taylor Euliss; great-grandchildren, William Nicolas Love, Paul Euliss, Joshua Euliss, Hazel Euliss, and Maddox Darnell; and many nieces, nephews, as well as many great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Douglas, Allen Douglas, Brantley Douglas, and Floyd Douglas; sister, Virginia Dare Douglas; and great-grandson, Nathan Euliss.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Open Door Ministries of High Point and Hospice of High Point.
