Bill Moss

William Charles “Bill” Moss, 66, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Born September 5, 1958, in High Point, he was a son of the late Arnold Gray Moss and the late Betty Peele Moss. Bill was a carpenter and a talented musician and singer.

Bill is survived by his wife of over thirty-five years, Donna Owen Moss of the home; son, Steven Simmons of Lexington; daughters, Sheena Cook and husband Todd of Lexington; Tonya Simmons of Lexington, Chastity Lilly of Virginia, Penny Wallace of Candor, and Bridget Lynn Stegenga and husband Derek of Randleman; brother, Bobby Moss of Trinity; sister, Sue Reynolds of Tennessee; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Moss.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 3, 2025, at New Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Moss Family Place in Lexington.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
