William Clarence Moore, Jr.

William Clarence Moore, Jr., 93, of Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at High Point Medical Center.

Born June 15, 1929, in Rockingham County, he was a son of the late William Clarence Moore, Sr. and the late Bertie Mae Pickrell Moore. Mr. Moore was a retired truck driver for Mason Dixon Trucking with thirty-four years of service.

He is survived by his son, Tony Moore and wife Sherry of Thomasville; daughters, Terri Coppola and husband Sal of Winston-Salem, Susan Bauman of Hawaii, and Debbie Dickerson of Hawaii; brothers, Bobby Moore and wife Genieva of Reidsville, and Carl Moore and wife Shirley of Stokesdale; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Byerly Moore in 1985; brothers, Duber Moore and Charles Moore.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 15, 2023, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
