William "Bill" Lee Smith

William Lee Smith, 93, of Thomasville, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020, at his home.

Born January 3, 1927, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Hubert Smith and the late Iva Yarborough Smith. Bill was a US Army veteran and retired mail carrier with thirty-two years of service. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Robin Duane Smith and wife Donna and her son, Nicholas Millwood of Thomasville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Tucker Smith.

A private celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Mabe officiating. Inurnment will be at Wesley Memorial Columbarium.
